Kuaima Steel stocks 2507 Duplex Plate in plate thicknesses from 3/16" (4.8mm) to 3" (76.2mm). 2507 duplex alloy is a cost effective alloy compared to 904L or 6% molybdenum super austenitic stainless steel.
Alloy 2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel containing 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel, designed for demanding applications requiring excellent strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical processing, petrochemical and seawater equipment. The steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion. High chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice and general corrosion.
